1973
- Sea-Land Orient Terminals Limited (SLOT) started the terminal operations at Berth 3, Kwai Chung
1984
- Increased Berth 3 terminal area by nullah reclamation
1988
- Completed the Centre A of Asia Terminals Ltd.
1994
- After the completion of ATL's Centre B, SLOT installed uniquely designed "Bridge Cranes" to handle containers at ATL Building's underneath
- Completed CY Gate expansion with 10 reversible gate lanes for in and out at the underneath
1996
- Set the world record of handling the annual throughput of 1 million TEUs over a single berth
1997
- Terminal productivity was improved from 20 moves per shore crane per hour in 1994 to 42.2 moves in 1997
2000
- SLOT was renamed as CSX World Terminals Hong Kong Limited
- The terminal also achieved a new productivity record for handling 15,660 containers (28,623 TEUs) at a single berth in one week in year 2000
2001
- CSXWT Hong Kong deployed the largest shore crane in Hong Kong and deepened the quayside water depth to 14 meters
2008
- Obtained the accreditation of ISO 14001 and ISO 18001
2011
- Achieved the accreditation of ISO 28000
